Hyderabad, Dec.5 (PMI): Accusing the Congress government of ‘two years of betrayal, false promises and failed governance’, the BJP on Friday announced a massive state-wide protest titled “People’s Betrayal Day – Maha Dharna”.
The party alleged that the Congress regime had pushed Telangana into ‘debt, unemployment and administrative chaos’, failing to fulfil key promises made to farmers, youth, senior citizens and the poor. BJP leaders said that crop loan waivers, job guarantees, welfare schemes and civic reforms had all ‘vanished into thin air.’
The protest will be held on December 7, 2025 from 9 am at Indira Park. Thousands of party workers, farmers, unemployed youth, women and citizens are expected to participate.
“The people’s anger will be heard loud and clear. This government can no longer hide behind hollow guarantees”, the BJP said, calling upon citizens to join the agitation demanding immediate implementation of pending promises. (pressmediaofindia.com)
