Hyderabad, April 5 (PMI): BJP national general secretary Muralidhar Rao today said his party was ruling the country without showing any discrimination against anybody, especially against the Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons at the State party office at Nampally today, Muralidhar Rao alleged that the TRS leaders, including Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, were lying on the issue of the procurement of paddy. He also claimed that the TRS was trying to incite Telangana sentiment among the people by utilising the paddy procurement issue. He also alleged that the consumption of drugs had gone up in the ruling TRS party rule and added that an in-depth investigation into the drugs trafficking issue would bring to the fore about the links of the TRS party leaders with the drugs mafia.
Stating that it was impossible for any drugs racket to continue in any State, Rao said the drugs trafficking issue had led to the change of government in Punjab. Referring to the news reports about the involvement of the BJP leaders in the drugs consumption scam, he asked the State government to file criminal cases against such leaders. (Press media of india)
