Hyderabad, Nov.15 (PMI): Union Minister and BJP Telangana State president Kishan Reddy today said their party was contesting in 111 assembly seats and its ally Jana Sena Party (JSP) was contesting in eight seats in the State.
Addressing media persons here, Kishan Reddy said those who filed their nomination on behalf of the BJP had almost withdrawn their nomination papers. He said the upcoming election was an election for the future of Telangana and added that if the people voted for the BRS and the Congress parties, it would be a loss for them and nothing will change in the State. He alleged that their two political rival parties were continuing the family and corrupt regimes. He claimed that for the last 10 days, the BJP had been seeing a positive atmosphere from the people in the State.
He alleged that some people were doing surveys in the name of fake companies and added that the survey reports were being released sitting at home. Stating that all the BC candidates are in the fray on behalf of BJP and Jana Sena, he said there were 36 BC candidates from the BJP and three from the Jana Sena party in the fray in the State. He said in the Congress party, only 22 BCs were given tickets and added that the ruling BRS had given tickets to 23 BCs.
He said they had given two general seats to Dalit leaders of the party. Reddy said the BJP had given tickets to 14 women candidates and added that the BRS had allotted tickets to its eight women leaders. He claimed that CM KCR was contesting in two assembly seats fearing defeat in Gajwel assembly constituency and added that KCR had not been able to sleep since their party leader Etela Rajender said he would be in the fray from the Gajwel seat.
He also predicted that KCR would lose to their party leader Venkataramana Reddy in Kamareddy assembly constituency. He alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had fielded TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy from Kamareddy to protect CM KCR. He also claimed that the people of the State were angry with CM KCR and his family and added that the people of Telangana were left with only slavery.(Press media of india)
