BJP MLA Raja Singh Booked For Provocative Comments

Hyderabad: The Goshamahal legislator T. Raja Singh Lodh has courted controversy yet again. A video of him making provocative statements during the Ram Navami procession has gone viral. Subsequently, two complaints were lodged against him accusing him of spreading communal tension and hatred.
 
Charminar MLA Ahmed Pasha Qadri filed the complaint with the Charminar police against the BJP MLA alleging that such comments not only disturb peace of the residents but also cause communal disturbance. The second complaint was filed with the Rein Bazaar police by one Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) activist Mohammed Iqbal Asif accusing the legislator of the same.
 
The video shows Raja Singh challenging the policemen of putting a ban of loudspeakers during the procession and secondly, saying that drones were used without the proper permission.
 
Recently, a complaint was filed against the BJP MLA for making “derogatory remarks on a social networking site against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao over his meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation- Gunfoundry Division Corporator Mamtha Gupta lodged the complaint against T Raja Singh Lodh over his Facebook post yesterday against Rao, Saifabad police station Inspector S Venkat Reddy said. The police were asked to take necessary action against the BJP legislator representing Goshamahal constituency.
