Hyderabad, As per the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana BJP would organize a day-long hunger strike on Thursday to protest the recent washout of the budget session of Parliament due to unruly behavior of Congress and other parties and to safeguard democracy.
The deeksha would be organized on Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm at Sridhar function hall, Khairtabad, here. Besides former Union minister and party senior leader Bandaru Dattatraya, Union minister of state for panchayat raj, agriculture and farmers welfare Purshotham Rupala, State party president Dr K. Laxman, BJP Legislature Party Leader G. Kishan Reddy, N. Ramchender Rao MLC and BJP City president, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, MLA and other senior BJP Leaders will participate in the deeksha.
Earlier, before proceeding to function hall at Khairatabad, the BJP leaders would garland Dr B R Ambedkar statue at Tankbund and pay tributes to martyrs at Amaraveerula sthoopam near the State Assembly.
