BJP Government’s Timely Efforts Secure Hajj 2026 Quota — A Reflection of Its Commitment to Indian Muslims: Firasath Baqri

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (PMI) BJP Telangana former state spokesperson Mir Firasath Ali Baqri welcomed the announcement of India’s Hajj 2026 quota, finalized after a bilateral meeting between Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah.

Baqri said the proactive engagement of the BJP-led Central Government with Saudi Arabia reflects its genuine and sincere concern for the welfare of Indian Muslims. He noted that the early confirmation of the Haj quota will allow the Hajj Committee of India and state authorities to prepare well in advance, ensuring transparency, better management, and improved facilities for the pilgrims.

“This decisive step highlights the government’s inclusive approach and proves that the BJP is equally committed to the progress and welfare of every section of society, including the Muslim community,” Baqri said.

He further commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and Minister Kiren Rijiju’s efforts in strengthening India–Saudi Arabia relations and improving Hajj management through digital reforms, fair allotments, and modern infrastructure.

Baqri concluded by saying that the BJP’s guiding vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayaas” is clearly reflected in this initiative, and that the early approval of the Hajj 2026 quota stands as a strong example of the Modi Government’s sincerity and commitment toward the Muslim minority community (pressmediaofindia.com)
