Hyderabad, : Senior IPS officer Tejdeep Kaur Menon has released a book on birds called “Birds of Greater Hyderabad”.
Penned by Dr VA Manga, a retired professor of photography, the book has 500 high quality photographs of 226 birds seen in the State capital. The birds are both local and migratory.
Speaking on the occasion, Tejdeep Kaur said the unique combination of lakes and rocky terrain make Hyderabad a favorite destination for many winter migratory birds.
