Billa Pavan sent to Chanchalgud on PD order
Hyderabad, Dec.27 (PMI): Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, issued a preventive detention order on November 30, 2018 against Guvvala Pavan Kumar alias Billa Pavan, a rowdy element, residing at Tapovan Colony, Lingojiguda, RR District.
The Commissioner said the accused has been indulging in extortion and criminal intimidation in public places under Hyderabad and Cyberabad police limits. He said he committed four offences and has been creating panic among the public and posed threat to law & order and social harmony.
The Commissioner said he SR Nagar Police arrested the accused on September 4 under Sections 324, 506 r/w 34 IPC and remanded to judicial custody. The PD order was executed on December 17 and was lodged in Chanchalguda jail. (PMI)
