Hyderabad, March 6 (PMI) Panic briefly spread in the Asif Nagar area of Hyderabad on Friday after a moving two-wheeler suddenly caught fire. The incident occurred in front of the Asif Nagar Police Station, where a motorcycle traveling on the road suddenly began emitting smoke and, within moments, burst into flames.
According to eyewitnesses, people present nearby became alarmed as soon as the bike caught fire. Local residents immediately informed the police and fire department, after which officials rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control in time.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. However, the motorcycle was severely damaged due to the fire.
Police officials stated that preliminary investigation suggests the fire may have been caused by a technical fault in the vehicle.
According to the police, a detailed investigation into the incident is underway. If required, CCTV footage from cameras installed in the surrounding area will also be examined to determine the exact cause of the accident.
