Hyderabad, 20 Dec 2024 (PMI): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the Bhu Bharati Act would protect the rights of every eligible landowner in Telangana.
Speaking as part of the discussion on the Bhu Bharati Bill-2024 in the Assembly on Friday, the Chief Minister said the Bhu Bharati Bill was introduced in the Assembly aimed at protecting the rights of the poor and safeguarding their property.
He alleged that information that was supposed to be between the Revenue Department and the Chief Minister went to other countries during the BRS regime and the complete information regarding Telangana lands was with prominent people settled in other countries.
“The data was smuggled out of the country through companies involved in financial crimes. All the information was given to criminals. All the laws should be read to know what punishment should be imposed for these crimes,” Revanth Reddy said.
Questioning why a few dozen companies had entered the Dharani, he reminded that if the Congress party had said all this before the Assembly elections, the BRS leaders called for Congress to be merged into the Bay of Bengal.
The Chief Minister criticized the fact that despite all these irregularities, the Dharani was a miracle and that the BRS leaders went to great lengths to make speeches during the elections. He said the anarchy and wickedness of the BRS leaders in the name of Dharani had reached an unspeakable level.
Stating that the Dharani Portal was operated by various States and countries, he expressed his displeasure that while the people trusted the government and provided details related to lands, the information was handed over to private individuals during the tenure of the BRS government.
“Information was leaked to countries during the BRS regime through Gade Sridhar Raju. If they click one button, all the information will be destroyed. Even our existing servers will be crashed,” Revanth Reddy disclosed. (PMI)
