BANDI SANJAY VOWS TO UNITE HINDUS TO DEFEAT CONG IN TELANGANA

Hyderabad, Nov.15 (PMI): Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday said the BJP would unite all Hindus in Telangana to defeat the ruling Congress party in the upcoming elections.

Addressing newsmen at the state BJP office, the Union minister launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him a ‘loser’ for his party nationally, and on BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao described him as a ‘loser’ for his party in Telangana. The results of the Bihar Assembly elections, where the NDA secured a large majority, reflected the people’s confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. On the other hand, the opposition Congress had been reduced to a ‘regional party’ after winning only five of the 60 seats it contested, he remarked.

Sanjay also alleged that the BRS had declined ever since KTR took charge as working president and ridiculed the party for projecting itself as an alternative despite losing the Secunderabad Cantonment and Jubilee Hills seats.

Commenting on the recent Jubilee Hills bypoll, Sanjay observed that the ‘entire minority community’ consolidated behind the Congress, and urged Hindus in Telangana to ‘think about the result’ and unite against the ruling party. He asserted that the party would demonstrate its strength in upcoming local body elections, and pointed out that the Congress has failed to implement its ‘six guarantees’ and denied employees DA and retirement benefits.

Further, the BJP leader said that the NDA’s strong performance in Bihar had made the fight ‘one-sided’ and reiterated that the BJP would come to power in West Bengal next year and hoist the saffron flag in Telangana in 2028.

Senior BJP leaders, including state president N. Ramachandra Rao, BJLP leader A Maheshwar Reddy and others were also present. (pressmediaofindia.com)
