Hyderabad, Sept.19 (PMI): Former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin has decided to contest in the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) elections. He filed his nomination papers for the post of the president to the election returning officer.
Speaking on the occasion, Azharuddin said he would work hard to bring back the lost glory of Hyderabad Cricket Association. He hoped that at least eight cricketers of Hyderabad should represent the country in the days to come. Alleging that negligence was being meted to LB stadium, the former skipper said he would see that international matches were held at the grand old stadium, which hosted several famous Matches in the past.
