Officials recovered 30 two-wheelers, altogether worth Rs 46 lakh from them
Hyderabad, Dec.31 (Shoukat-PMI): On December 30 evening, Chaitanyapuri police officers and staff nabbed two automobile offenders, who committed theft of 30 Motorcycles in the Limits of Rachakonda, Cyberabad, Hyderabad city, Vikarabad, Nizamabad and Sanga Reddy. When both the accused came to Chaitanyapuri crossroad to dispose of the stolen Motorcycles as well as to commit another Motorcycle theft, while proceeding towards Nagole from Kothapet on stolen bike in the middle of the way, they were caught by the Vehicle Checking Party of crime staff at Mohan Nagar crossroad while they were moving in a suspicious manner.
When questioned, the accused conferred their crime and the police recovered 30 Motorcycles i.e. (Royal Enfield-12, Honda Activa-10, Splendor-3, Honda Unicorn-2, Honda shine-1, Bajaj Platina-1 and Burgman Sccoty-1) all worth Rs 46,00,000/- and another thief is absconding. The accused were identified as Mohd Shaik, AC technician, residing at Golkonda, Hyderabad; Mohd Imran, Auto driver, residing at Ibadul Rahaman Masjid, Golkonda and Imran residing near Banjara Darwaja, Golkonda absconding.
The arrests were made under the supervision and guidance of G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, under the directions of CH. Praveen Kumar, IPS, DCP, L.B Nagar Zone and ADCP, L.B Nagar Zone, ACP LB Nagar Division, SHO Chaitanyapuri PS. (PMI)
