Hyderabad, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi today distributed necessary equipment among the people with disabilities at government junior college Chanchalguda. He disbursed 28 motorized tricycles, 25 wheel chairs, 12 walking sticks, 37 tricycles and other s to 120 differently abled persons.
Speaking on the occasion, Asaduddin Owaisi urged the officials to organize more camps to identify differently-abled people and he assured them that he will allot funds from his MPLADs.
“I’m the member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment. Any suggestion with regard to the development and Welfare of these people may be brought to my notice so that I can put it before the committee” he said. He asked the people to visit only Disabled Park located at Nalgonda crossroads and avail the facilities being provided for differently-abled persons there. He also appreciated the work being done by officials and thanked them for organizing the camp.
The camp was organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjans), Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Malakpet MLA Ahmed-bin-Abdullah Balala, MIM corporators and officials were present on the occasion.
