Hyderabad’Dec 19’2022 (PMI) As per the instructions of CP Cyberabad, the SOT teams of Cyberabad are on constant look out for Drug Peddlers and Consumers, and thus developed various sources and informants to curb the menace of Drugs and Other Psychotropic substances. As a result, on 19.12.2022 on credible information, the SOT Madhapur Zone team and local Police apprehended (01) accused person Rajesh Naik who has been peddling drugs at Nalgandla under the limits of PS Chandangar and seized 48 grams MDMA (Methylenedioxy-Methamphetamine) Drug and 01-Mobile Phone, all worth about Rs. 3,50,000/- from his possession. The details are as follows.

MODUS OPERENDI:-
The accused Rajesh Naik N/o Madlawada, Arambol, North Goa, Goa state is a drug peddler and supplier. His father expired about 3 years back. They get Rs. 21,000/- per month as rent on their own house in Goa. He has to take care of his mother and two sisters. Since there are no enough income resources, he inclined towards peddling of drugs for easy money. He has contacts in Hyderabad also and receives orders from Hyderabad. In view of huge requirement for drugs for new year celebrations, he came down to Hyderabad on 17.12.2022 to sell the drugs to the needy people. On the tip off, the SOT Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad made efforts and collected information about him, suspecting of supplying and peddling of drugs in Hyderabad. On 19.12.2022 while the accused Rajesh Naik was peddling the drugs in Nalagandla area under the limits of Chandanagar PS, immediately the team rushed there and taken him in to custody along with 48 Grams of MDMA. Later it came to know that the accused Rejesh Naik has been procuring huge quantity of MDMA drug from the main drug supplier Apple N/o Nigeria presently staying in Goa.
