Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police in a first of its kind of initiative issued orders assigning armed reserve police constables duties in regular civil police works.
A total of 573 police armed reserve constables will work on attachment in law and order, traffic, special branch, task force, H New and cybercrime police stations.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand IPS said they are being attached to police stations, traffic and other wings to fill up some of the vacancies and provide more hands to do civil police duties.
