On the 3rd of this month, two women joined work in a trader’s house under SR Nagar police station. After two days, seeing that, they hit the eyes of the elderly people in the house and took away 150 tolas of gold ornaments. The police registered a case on this incident and analyzed the 200 cc cameras and identified the accused as old criminals. The two were arrested in Mumbai and 120 tola gold ornaments were recovered from them. CP CV Anand disclosed the details of this incident in a press conference on Monday.
Mahadevi Rajesh Kalal alias Sunita of Maharashtra Nagar Hots, Mumbai works in the houses of Pooja Suresh Sagat. Both of them are old criminals. On the 2nd of this month, Sunitha went to B. Ram Narayana’s house at Shanti Bagh Lane, SR Nagar and asked if she would work. They immediately put her to work without any information about her. Similarly, Pooja Suresh went to someone else’s house and asked her to work, they asked for her Aadhaar card, previous work details, her hometown, and refused to hire her as her answers were incorrect. In this order, Pooja Suresh also came back to where Sunitha was working. On the 3rd, the day after joining work, only the elderly parents of the owner were present at home.
In the list of old criminals,
the SRnagar police, who have registered a case, focused on the CCTV cameras as there was no information about the accused. Five teams have been formed to solve this case. 200 CC cameras within 25 km of the incident site were examined. It also includes CCTV cameras at bus stops and railway stations. Information about the accused was collected through the CCTV cameras and checked in the database of criminals and it was found that they were old criminals. After searching for the accused, these two were arrested and 120 tolas of gold ornaments were seized from them.
Investigation revealed that the criminals had come to Hyderabad with a clear plan to commit theft. The theft took place due to the employment of strangers, and the CP advised to keep valuables in the house carefully. Rubina, Adil and Muzaffar who bought stolen gold from these accused are absconding. Westzone DCP Joel Davis, Panjagutta ACP Mohankumar, Inspector Saidulu, DI Ramprasad and other officers participated in this meeting
