APPREHENDED ANINTERSTATE GANJA TRANSPORTER -SEIZED 21KGs OF GANJAAND 01CELL PHONE – ALL W.Rs. 04 LAKHS

Hyderabad;Feb’26’2022-The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Gandhi Nagar Policeapprehendedan Interstateaccusedwho found transporting and sellingof contraband Ganjaillegally from Darakonda, Vizag, Andra Pradesh to Nanded, Aurangabadof Maharashtra State and HyderabadTelangana State. Total seized21KGs of Ganjaand01Cell phoneat the instance of the accused.

DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED:-
1) ShaikMudassir @ Chotu, age: 20 yrs, Occ: Chappal Shop at Nanded, Maharasthra State, R/o NaiAbadi, Nanded, Maharasthra State.
2) Goverdhan, R/o Darakonda of Vishakhapatnam Dist., AP State.
( Absconding )

SEIZED:-
1. 21 KG of Ganja.
2. One CellPhone.

BRIEF FACTS:-
The accused ShaikMudassir @ Chotuis the native of Nanded of Maharasthra State. He is running small shop at Nanded to run his family members. Due to Covid pandemic his business is fall down, thereby he laid infinancial crisis and his earnings are not sufficient to lead his family. Subsequently, he hatched a plan to transport and sell the Ganja to the needy customers to earn easy money. In this juncture he came in contact with one Goverdhan, R/o Vishakhapatnamand made an agreement to arrange Ganja to transport to other places for resale.Later, he went to Vishakhapatnam and purchased contraband Ganjaseveral times and transported to Nanded. Subsequently, few days back he went to Darakonda and collected Ganja. While transporting to Hyderabad he taken into custody and seized 21 KG of Ganja in the limits of Gandhi Nagar.
On credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Gandhi Nagar Police, Hyderabad apprehended the accused and seized (21) KGs of Ganjaand (01) Cell phoneat the instance of the accused.The apprehended accused and seized Ganjahanded over to SHO, Gandhi NagarPS for further investigation.
APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:-In recent times we have seen several youth/students are addicted to Ganja/Drugs, engaged in crime and other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city.
