Hyderabad, Jan.25 (PMI): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has informed that the State government will launch the implementation of another two guarantees in next month.
Addressing the Congress Booth Committee meeting at LB Nagar here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that the State government had already been implementing two guarantees out of six and another two would be launched in February.
Revanth Reddy, who is also president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee ( TPCC), reiterated that the Congress government would implement all six guarantees within the first 100 days of coming to power and the process of depositing the amount into farmers’ accounts under the Rythu Bandhu scheme would be completed by the next month.
He alleged that the previous BRS government didn’t implement a single electoral promise during its tenure and said that the BRS had no right to seek votes again in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Responding to the remarks made by the Opposition terming him as a Gumpu Mestri, the Chief Minister said that he was really a person of Gumpu Mestri as he was reconstructing the destroyed Telangana done by the previous BRS government.
“The people of Telangana already tought a fitting lesson to the BRS in the recently held Assembly elections. The BRS party will face the same results in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” Revanth Reddy said.
“We will set up Indiramma committees across the Telangana State in which there will be booth level committee members,” he added. (pressmediaofindia.com)
