Mumbai, New Delhi,Oct 21(PMI): October 20: Fake bomb threats to Indian planes continue. The relevant sources revealed that 25 flights received bomb threats on Sunday. Domestic and foreign flights of Indigo, Vistara, Akasha Air and Air India have received these threats. More than 90 flights have received such threats so far this week. Indigo and Vistara said they have conducted security checks in view of the latest threats. Keeping in view the bomb threats coming mostly through social media, the Civil Aviation Security Bureau on Saturday held a meeting with the representatives of various airlines. Discussed measures to be taken to prevent hoax bomb threats. The Civil Aviation Department is planning to implement stricter rules, including banning the flights of perpetrators of such threats, to prevent incidents of fake bomb threats.
