Hyderabad, June 28 (PMI): AIMIM leader and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi returned home from London in the early hours of Friday. He was treated at a hospital there after his health deteriorated. He returned home after a 45-day treatment in London.
His elder brother and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi had appealed to his followers to pray for Akbar’s speedy recovery. Several party workers and fans of the Owaisis thronged Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad to welcome their leader. The excited MIM workers accorded a red carpet welcome to the ailing leader. Akbaruddin headed to his residence in Banjara Hills after greeting his fans at the airport.
