Hyderabad, Stating that the Telangana state was a fast growing state across the nation, MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi said that he was welcoming the decision of increasing the amount of Kalyana Laxmi and Shadhi Mubharak schemes up to Rs.1 lakh.
Launching the discussion on general budget on Monday, Owaisi asked the state government to initiate steps to protect the Urdu and Arabic languages along with Telugu language. He urged the state government to spend the amount allocated to Brahmana welfare in proper way. He praised the state government saying that it was striving for the welfare of the SC,ST, BC and Minority Welfare. He pointed out that the Maharashtra government’s budget was Rs.3 lakh crore but it kept the welfare of minorities aside. He said that he was happy that the TRS government was giving adequate priority for the welfare of minorities in Telangana state. He urged the state government to develop the Unani Hospital located at Charminar.
