Hyderabad : Asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as to why they did not initiate action if Congress leaders indulged in corrupt practices during their regime, AICC Minority cell chairman Syed Khurshid Ahmed alleged that the PM and CM were speaking alike on 12% reservations to Muslims and fooling them.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Khurshid accosted Prime Minister Modi about corruption charges against him in the past. He described Modi’s rule as quarrelling women at a street water tap. He also alleged that investments from other countries were not coming due to Modi’s policies due to his divide and rule policy. Asking the Prime Minister as to why he was not speaking about thousands of widows living in Varanasi, Khurshid asked Modi, who was speaking about Muslim women’s Talaq issue, to give an explanation about his wife.
The AICC Minority Cell leader alleged that the BJP government at the Centre was encouraging killing of innocent people in the name of Gau Raksha and also attacks on farmers across the nation.
