New Delhi, Nov 7(PMI-Sports)The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shortlisted Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai as the venues for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, with the final set to take place in Ahmedabad.
The Narendra Modi Stadium, the world’s largest cricket ground with a seating capacity of over one lakh, will host the title clash. The venue also staged the 2023 ODI World Cup final between India and Australia.
Unlike the previous edition, which was played across ten venues, the 2026 tournament will be spread over five major cities, ensuring high-profile matches at India’s premier cricket centers. (pressmediaofindia.com)
