Hyderabad, Sept.25 : Accreditation will be given to all eligible journalists from Sept 26 as the media committee providing online services, media committee chairman and press academy chief Allam Narayan today said.
After a meeting with officials, he appreciated them for proving handy the online services and said that it is a continuous process to give accreditation cards to journalists. He said that the committee adopts transparency in giving the cards as they screened 943 applications of print and electronic media.
Narayan said that 2084 persons were selected eligible so far and the rest will also get the accreditation cards as per norms.
He instructed the RTC officials to ensure the journalists travel in Hubli, Airport and other services without any problem and inconvenience. He earlier asked the RTC officials to provide special cards with easy identity and hassle free recognition to avoid confusion among Conductors in buses who often compare the same with concession cards of physically disabled.
The cards being offered will be useful from Oct 2019 up to September 2021, he said.
Narayan handed over accreditation cards to some of the committee members on the occasion.
