Hyderabad, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday raided 11 houses simultaneously of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Director (Planning) K. Purushotham Reddy and his relatives here in connection with a disproportionate assets case booked against him.
This is the second time that ACB officials raided Reddy’s house in SR Nagar. In 2009, a similar case was booked against him. When ACB officials came to his house, Reddy allegedly escaped. He allegedly amassed illegal properties in the name of benamis. There are allegations that Reddy acquired properties in the name of his brother-in-law. The sleuths reportedly detected illegal assets worth Rs 30 to 40 crore in the day-long raids.
