Hyderabad 7th March’20 (PMI): CCS Madhapur arrested a notorious offender who was involved in total (10) cases and recovered (07) four-wheeler and (01) two wheeler i.e., Ertiga Car (Maruti Suzuki) -1, Chevrolet Taveras-3, Maruthi Altos-2, Mahendra SLX 2WD 7str-1 and two-wheeler Motor cycle (TVS APACHE RTR 160 4V)-1.
Thata Prasad @ Mamidipally Sheshikanth @ Prasad S/o Laxmipathi @ Agunla Laxminarayana, age 36 yrs, occ: Pvt. Driver, r/o Near Sai Baba Temple, Kollur (V&M), Guntur Dist., of AP N/o Gantasala (V&M), Krishana Dist., of A.P. The accused is a native of Old Shantha Bazar, Gantasala (V&M), of Krishana Dist., AP., and he studied upto 10th class. Presently he is seeking out livelihood by working as a driver and living along with his family in Kollur (V&M), Guntur Dist., of AP. The accused addicted to luxurious life and he wanted to earn easy money to meet his lavish expenditure by committing Vehicle & HB offences. In the year 2003 he was arrested in House theft cases in the PSs of Tirupathi, Vijayawada III town, Rajamundry III town, Narsapuram, Ongole, Tenali, Guntur of Andhra Pradesh and Banjara Hills of Hyderabad city, KPHB of Cyberabad. After releasing from jail again he committed offences in Hanuman Junction, Vijayawada, Kakinada, Chittoor and Bhavanipuram PSs of AP and he was arrested in the said cases and released on bail from Chitoor jail on 16.10.2019.
After releasing from jail again he committed offences along with his associates Malakonda Reddy and Osman in RC Puram PS limits by break open the lock with iron rod and entered into the house and break open the Almarah and cupboards and committed theft of gold, LCD TV (Toshiba) and Ertiga Car.
On credible information, under the supervision of DCP Crimes Smt. Rohini Priyadharshini, IPS., ADCP Crimes Ramchandrudu, Cyberabad, CCS Madhapur team lead by Sri. V. Prasanna Kumar, Inspector of Police and his staff have done tremendous work in apprehension of the accused Thata Prasad @ Mamidipally Sheshikanth @ Prasad. The accused was apprehended on 06.03.2020 and he confessed (10) cases and recovered (07) four wheelers and One two wheeler in the limits of RC Puram PS of Cyberabad Commissionarate and the cases of following PS limits i.e., Dhone PS of Kurnool Dist., Vinukonda PS of Guntur Dist., Muvvalavanipalem PS of Vizag, Prakash Nagar PS of Rajamundry Urban Dist., Kothapeta PS of East Godavari Dist., Kondipi PS of Prakasham Dist., Penuganchiprolu of Krishana Dist., of Andhra Pradesh State Limits.
Total worth of Rs. 60, 50,000/- has been amounted in following cases.
