Hyderabad Dec 14 (PMI): The style of the Majma-e- Olama wo Khutba Hyderabad Deccan is that they meet once in every two months to review the current situation and to be aware of each other’s preaching activity and to solve problems related to preaching. It should be taken out and a plan of action should be prepared for the future after reviewing the performance of the assembly for the last two months. However, this meeting could not be convened for the last four months due to the global deadly epidemic. The meeting once again gathered all the scholars under one roof and called a short but useful session.
In the afternoon at 2:00 PM, most of the members gathered at Shabestan-e- Qaim. On the direction of President of Majama-e- Olama wo Khutaba Molana Maulana Shaji Mukhtar invited Maulana Maqsood Jafari Kashmiri to recite the Holy Quran. Then after Moulana Tanveer Saheb Qibla recited poetry and the listeners (Samaeen) praise to him.
After the reciting session of poem, a series of speeches began in which Maulana Zafaryab Hyder saheb’s son-in-law Maulana Syed Sarmadi Sahib gave a short but comprehensive speech on the occasion of Fatimid reception and current affairs and said that along with the internal enemy i.e internal sectarianism the same time, we must be wary of the external enemy, the Jews and Christians, and rise above sectarian differences to confront the common enemy.
After the speech, Maulana Mohib Abid Sahib presented some requisitions and said that if the trunk of a palm tree is cut down, the tree becomes useless but the poplar tree gives shade till its roots are cut off. What is needed is a poplar tree, not a tree. There is a need for a patron who is a shade tree for his subordinates and not just a lover of his chair and fame.After this speech, the President, Maulana Farshta Sahib Qibla, thanked the Attendees for their participation in the concluding remarks and said, “Enable to gathering. Praise be to Allaah. In two years, the Majma-e- Olama wo Khutaba has been introduced in the community globally. Now the rest of its functions and its development is the responsibility of the members but I am with you all at every stage. With these words Maulana prayed for the scholars and the Ummah.
