Hyderabad, The Government of Telangana has constituted ‘Telangana State Minorities Career Counseling Centre’ to provide guidance and counseling to the students belonging to minority communities regarding education avenues and employment opportunities available right from passing SSC examination to the Post Graduation and Professional Courses.
A.K. Khan, IPS, Advisor to the Government, Minorities Welfare inaugurated the ‘Telangana State Minorities Career Counseling Centre’ today at 3 rd Floor, Jamia Nizamia Complex,(KFC Upstairs), Opp: SBI, Gun Foundry, Hyderabad. He said that this centre is the need of the hour and it would be very much useful to the minority students. He said that already facilities for coaching for the admission seeking examinations and job seeking examinations are available for the minorities. He further said K. Chandrasekhara Rao is taking revolutionary measures for educational, economic and social development of the Minority communities, particularly the Muslim community. Setting up of Minority Residential Schools is an exemplary step of the Chief Minister, he said.
He inaugurated the web site of the Minorities Career Counseling Centre www.tsmccc.telangana.gov.in on this occasion.
A K Khan also inaugurated a web site of the Career Guidance Centre on this occasion and said ‘students can get benefit and obtain information conveniently’.
Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Director, Telangana State Minorities Career Counseling Centre presided over the function. He said ‘Already two specific centres are serving the minority students, the CEDM at Nizam College, which is providing coaching for Admission Seeking Courses and another the Telangana Study Centre, which is providing free coaching for job seeking examinations. He further said that said that ‘State government is determined for the welfare of the minorities in the state.’
