A 14 YEAR FEMALE STUDENT DIED ON SPOT HIT BY A TRACTOR NEAR CHERUVU KATTA

Hyderabad Nov 7 (PMI): As per the Press note of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad,  on 4th November 2019 a 8th Class student of Z. P. H. S. Gajularamaram,  namely  Keerthana D/o Medaboina Kanakaiah, aged 14 years, has met an accident hit by a Tractor driver while she was proceeding to home from Z.P.H.S School, after school hours by walk, on the way near to Cheruvu katta, an accused driver(Not having Driving License)  who was proceeding from Devender nagar towards Lalsabguda for dust load had stroke (fits) and fallen on the steering, due to which the vehicle went uncontrolled and hit Keerthana from opposite direction. As a result, she received bleeding injury on her head and died on the spot.

Hence, the Cyberabad Traffic Police advise the owners of the vehicles to take the following precautionary measures:

(i) Thoroughly check the driving license (DL) of the drivers (ii) Simultaneously check the health condition of the drivers (iii) Properly check the vehicle condition and maintain it in good condition (iv) Without verifying the license as well as physical/mental and health condition of the driver, if any mishap occurred, owner of the vehicle will be liable for legal action (v) Vehicle must have a valid insurance.

Further, it is also advised to get the driving licenses after properly learning to drive a vehicle. Public need to understand the necessity of learning about road rules, sign boards, road markings, vehicle maintenance, controlling a vehicle in different circumstances for safe travel.
