Hyderabad: An 85-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan at her residence near Suraram in the city. The victim, N Parvathamma was abandoned by her husband a year ago and was living with her nephew.
She suffered a hip fracture after falling down from an RTC bus. Since then she had been doing her daily chores with the help of a walking aid. On Wednesday, her nephew along with his family went to hospital to see his ailing relative. When they returned home, they found Parvathamma hanging to the ceiling fan.
