Hyderabad, (PMI): Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao said that Chief Minister KCR will soon lay the foundation stone for the new 2,000-bed building to be constructed as part of the expansion of NIMS Hospital. The officials were ordered to complete all the arrangements and permissions for this. On Tuesday, he held a review meeting with the senior officials of the health department at his secretariat. Speaking on this occasion, Harish Rao said that there will be special blocks for OP, IP and emergency services in the new building. The building will have eight floors. It is explained that the number of beds in Nimes will reach 3,500 if the new building is completed. Harish Rao has ordered to complete the works of 200 bed super specialty MCH being constructed at Gandhi Hospital for the first time in the country by the end of this month. He advised to speed up the work of the Government Fertility Center and State Organ Transplant Center being set up in Gandhi. The superintendent was directed to take steps to ensure that organ transplant surgeries are done in Gandhi as in Nims. 41,000 applications for the posts of staffers,
Minister Harish Rao ordered that the process of filling 5,204 posts of staffers in various departments should be conducted transparently through the online system (CBT). A total of 40,936 people have applied. He said that examination centers will be set up in Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam and Nizamabad. It has been suggested that transfers of assistant professors should be taken up before the release of final results for 1,442 assistant professor posts.
