Hyderabad Jan 13 (PMI): The deceased namely Pagadala Maheder Naidu 28 years old was killed by his father namely Pagadala Mohan Rao Naidu, 63 years old. A case was registered in PS Neredmet as Cr No 647 of 2018 U/S 302, 210, 201 IPC.
According to press Note released by PRO Rachakonda the deceased was working in Indian ass Company as delivery boy later he became jobless and was addicted to alcohol. He used to come home in drunken condition and often quarrels with his parents. On that, the accused had admonished him. On 13-10-2018 at about 9.30 AM, the accused along with his friend Krishnam Raju and deceased/son Mahender Naidu consumed alcohol. In the influence of alcohol, the deceased argued with accused/father and also abused his mother/complainant Smt PagadaL Usharani. After consuming alcohol the accused left the place and went to home. The deceased consumed more alcohol and became intoxicated. At about 11.00 AM the deceased with a help of Krishnam Raju also went to his home and started knocking the door. The enraged accused/father came out with a knife and stabbed on chest and stomach of deceased due to which the deceased fell down and died.
During the course of investigation, the accused A. Narsimha Swamy, Inspector of Police collected evidence, arrested the accused and remanded him to judicial custody. On completion of investigation, the IO filed charge sheet in the court.
During the trial, today i.e., 12-01-2021 the Hon’ble XVI ADJ Smt Bhavani Chandra convicted the accused Pagadala Mohan Rao Naidu U/s 304 (ii) to undergo 7 years Rigorous Imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs.600/-.
The IO Sri A. Narsimha Swamy, Inspector of Police, CDO Sri K. Parasharamulu and Addl .P.P Sri. M. Ganga Reddy have attended on behalf of prosecution.
