Hyderabad, Sri Chatrapati Shivaji Maratha Sanskrit Trust will celebrate Sri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19. On the occasion, the trust will be conducting a 5K Rum on the Necklace road on February 4 at 6 am under the theme “Run for Integrity, Unity and Traffic Rules Awareness”.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, L.K. Shinde, Trust chairman, Dilip Kumar Jagtap, Sports Convenor, Prakash Patil, president of Telangana Maratha Mandal and Madan Jadhav released 5K Run poster today. They said the 5k Run Shobha Yatra will start from Shivaji Arch at Puranapul after puja. The rally will pass through Jummerat Bazaar, Begum Bazaar, Barthan Bazaar, Siddiamber Bazaar, Shankarpet Hotel and culminate into a public meeting at Chatrapathi Shivaji statue opposite MGM Bus Depot.
They said Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M. Bhqagwat, IPS, will be the chief guest. J.J. Shobha, Double Olympian and Arjuna Awardee, Neeta Dadwe, Kabaddi player and Arjuna Awardee, Ajay Bharati, International Golf Player, will be the guests of honour. The Trust will also felicitate the Arjuna Awardees and other international players and celebrities, who will be participating in the Run.
