Hyderabad, Nov.18 (Saba fatima-Spl Correspondent -Press media of india): The most important festival of Sikhs across the world ”Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev (Birthday Celebrations, the first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikh Religion, who spread the message of peace and communal harmony over the world will be celebrated on a grand scale in Hyderabad on November 19.
To mark the important occasion, Prabhandak Committee of Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad will organsie a ”VISHAAL DEEWAN” (MASS CONGREGATION) will be held at Classic Gardens, Balamrai, Secunderabad from 11 am to 4 pm on November 19 (Friday), where over 20,000 Sikh devotees and other community faiths will converge at the programme.
The GSS Prabhandak Committee, President, S. Baldev Singh Bagga and General Secretary, S Jagmohan Singh said that the event will be marked by the recitations of Gurbani Keertans (Holy Hymns) by the reputed Ragi Jathas (religious preachers) who are being specially invited from various parts of the country to render Gurubani shabad keertans.
Noted peachers, Gyani Pinderpal SInghji, Bhai Amarjeet SInghji of Patiala, Bhai Onkar Singhji, Bhai Jagdev Singhji, Bhai Harpreet Singh and other reputed Ragi Jathas will recite Shabad Keertans and Kathas and throw light on the teachings of Guru Nanak who stood for peace, equality and humanity. After the culmination of the congregation Guru Ka Langar (free community kitchen) will be served to the devotees.
Medical camps will the organised at the venue for the benefit of devotees. Several dignitaries are expected to participate in the celebrations. (PMI)
