Hyderabad, May 20 (PMI): Municipal and IT Minister K T Rama Rao today said that 50,000 units of two bed room houses (2BHK) built will be distributed among the beneficiaries by August in GHMC limits in Hyderabad.
He said that by Dasara festival the government will complete and give one lakh units of double bedroom houses in Greater Hyderabad limits for the poor.
The Minister held a review meeting at MCR HRD in Jubilee Hills here with officials on the flagship 2 BHK for the poor class in the GHMC limits. KTR has said that the government has taken up the housing facility as a prestigious projects. We gave already given some houses so far and will do so on completing the works he said. We will give the housing facility to the poor free of cost.
The minister said that 50,000 units of two bed room houses built will be distributed among the beneficiaries by August. He said that about 80 per cent of the housing works are completed so far and rest to be by coming Dasara festival. KTR instructed the officials to complete the prestigious housing works speedily.
