                                                                                              . Traffic Reorganisation in Cyberabad’M Stephen Raveendra

Hyderabad, Feb.26 (Press media of india): Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra,  today held a meeting with officials of the Traffic wing with an objective of reorganisation of traffic wing in IT core area to meet the emerging challenges in the near future. This was in view of tentative return to office of employees in IT sector in the near future; fatal and non-fatal road accidents, new link roads ,volume of traffic, rapid infra developmental works; road safety and other issues.

Addressing the officers, the CP stressed the need for Traffic police to work effectively in coordination with other stakeholders and road accidents should be minimized. Drunk driving, vehicle racing and other dangerous activities must be prevented, he said. The deployment of the police in management of traffic should be perceived by use of technology, deployment of logistics and so on.

In the meeting Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty, IPS, Traffic DCP SM Vijay Kumar, IPS, DCP Shamshabad Jagadeeshwar Reddy, DCP Madhapur Shilpavally, ACPs, SHOs, Inspectors, CAOs and other traffic officials were present. (PMI)
