As many as 32 vehicles were seized for not having valid documents. Nearly 32 persons, including eight history sheeters were taken into custody,” he said.
He said gutkha packets sold with brand name ‘Talwar’ were also seized. Raids were conducted on the adulterated ginger-garlic paste making units and an illegal gas refilling unit. Three cases have been booked for running adulterated food manufacturing units, he said.
