Hyderabad: Close on the heels of Nitish Narayana death incident, two people killed and four others injured in a road accident after the car they were travelling in hit a metro pillar in Chaitanyapuri on Thursday.The deceased identified as Chaitanya(24) died on the spot and his friend succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in a hospital. According to police, the mishap occurred when a group of six friends were driving back home to Dilsukhnagar after a birthday party at LB Nagar.
Another man, who was sleeping under the metro pillar, lost his two legs as the car ran over him. He was shifted to Osmania General Hospital along with other injured people.
After preliminary examination, the police found the accident took place due to the alcohol consumption of the victims which led to the over speed of the vehicle resulting in the accident
