16,000 Teachers posts to be filled soon: Kadiam

Hyderabad : Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today said the State government will fill 16,000 teacher posts in the near future. He paid rich tributes to Dr S Radhakrishnan on the occasion of Teachers Day at Ambedkar Bhavan in Hanmakonda in Warangal district.

Speaking on the occasion, Srihari accused the previous governments of neglecting the education sector. “If they have not ignored the education sector, we would have competed with other nations in terms of development”, he said. He also alleged that the previous rulers ruined the education sector by considering the funds spent as investment instead of focusing on quality education and facilities.

“Now the TRS Government was cleansing the mess of the education sector and spending huge funds for rolling out the best students. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for providing the best education with all facilities and teachers with active coordination can provide best education to the poor students. The credit of launching KCR 525 Gurukul institutions in the State goes to KCR. With our efforts, the number of students in government schools increased significantly as they shifted from private schools in three years. The Government will offer best awards to Teachers from next year based on the merit and performance. He appealed to the teachers to focus on the quality education and need not apply and make lobbying for the awards.
