Mumbai ;April ;15 2023-(PMI) A bus fell into a canal in Raigad district of Maharashtra. 12 passengers died in this accident. 25 others were injured. The police said that the accident took place on Saturday morning. A private bus going from Pune to Mumbai met with this accident. The bus fell into a valley near the Shingroba temple on the old Mumbai-Pune highway.
It seems that there were 45 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. The injured were taken to the hospital. Immediately after the accident, the locals tried to save the injured. The accident took place when all the people from a company in Goregaon were on their way back to Pune.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde (Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde) expressed deep grief over the accident. He additionally spoke to Raigarh Collector and SP.
