Hyderabad, June 22: The Cyberabad Police celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day on June 21 with enthusiasm, as 350 personnel gathered for a special yoga session at the Cyberabad Police Parade Grounds.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Art of Living Foundation, aimed to promote physical health, mental well-being, and stress management among the force. The session began at 6:30 AM and included yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques.
Dr. Gajarao Bhupal, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), emphasized the significance of this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” Speaking at the event, he remarked, “Yoga represents the harmony of mind and body, the balance between thought and action, and the unity of discipline and fulfillment.”
Senior officials, including CAR Headquarters DCP Sanjeev, ADCP Shameer, ACP Indravardhan, ACP Arun, and several Reserve Inspectors, attended the event alongside Art of Living volunteers Srinivasan, Venkat, Swetha, and Shravan.
