Nalgonda, Sept.26 (PMI): At least 10 passengers were injured when a private travels bus overturned on National Highway 65 at Durajpally in Suryapet district in the early hours on Thursday.
The mishap occurred when a bus of private Travels overturned reportedly due to drowsy driving. The bus was going to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam carrying 50 passengers. According to the victims, the bus started from Visakhapatnam at 7 pm on Wednesday and met with the accident at 4am on Thursday. Passengers were asleep when the vehicle hit the road divider and overturned in roadside open place.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Area hospital at Suryapet. The condition of five injured was said to be critical. The Suryapet rural police registered a case and took up investigation.
