Hyderabad : The Telangana Greater Hyderabad Municipal Employees Union has demanded the GHMC Commissioner to take immediate action against the A.C (Finance) Jai Raj Kennedy, who had scolded the Assistant Commissioner on front of all officers. The Union submitted a complaint to the Commissioner in the matter. .
Union General Secretary, Shyam Rao Varakala, alleged in the complaint that on August 26, the Revenue Collection meeting was held and all the Dy. Commissioners/Assistant Municipal Commissioners were present in the meeting. At the Meeting, on a petty issue hot discussion cropped up between A.C, (Finance) and Panduranga Rao AMC Circle No.3 GHMC.
The A.C. (Finance) Jai Raj Kennedy has angrily scolded the Asst. Commissioner in front of all Officers by using un-parlimenmry language. The Asst. Municipal Commissioners kept quiet and felt ashamed in front of all officers and left the meeting hall. This type of attitude adopted by the Andhra Officer against the Telangana Officer is highly arrogant and action needed to be initiated against such officer.
The Union requested the Commissioner to take immediate action against the Andhra Officer A.C. (Finance) by surrendering him to his parent Department. lf no action is initiated against said officer within a week, the Union will be forced to take drastic steps such as pen down strike/hunger strike etc. till the Andhra Oflicer is repatriated him from GHMC, the Union said.
