SHIA CIVIL COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE STRONGLY PROTESTS, REPRESENTS BEFORE CEO WAQF BOARD.

Hyderabad, March 25 (PMI) –  A 225-year-old Ashur Khana of Talib-ud-Daulah, located in the Jalal Kooncha Shibli Ganj area of the old city, was demolished by locals claiming it to be their property. While this Ashur Khana is a waqf property, along with Talib-ud-Daulah’s mosque, which is known as the Chain Mosque, it is worth noting that Mir Hassan Ali Khan Talib-ud-Daulah was the first Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad city.

Shia Civil Council for Social Justice strongly protested against this incident. A delegation from Telangana State Shia Civil Council for Social Justice  (SCCFSJ) led by its president Mir Hassan Ali Khan (Mujahid) met the Chief Executive Officer and Officer of Telangana Waqf Board, Asadullah. The delegation, which included Shabbir Hassan, Syed Abid Hussain Naqvi, Mannan, Wilayat Ali and Noor, told the CEO that the Ashur Khana has been registered in its name.
